Mother Jones’ Washington, DC bureau chief David Corn joined Mark Glaze of Mayors Against Illegal Guns on MSNBC’s Hardball Wednesday to talk about the first big Senate hearing on gun violence, Gabby Giffords’ moving testimony, and how to combat the NRA’s ruthless lobbying. At the hearing, NRA head Wayne LaPierre reaffirmed that he was not willing to give an inch on gun control, even when it comes to moderate measures with broad public approval, such as universal background checks.
