In Mississippi, where education laws require “stressing” abstinence, teachers are prohibited from “any demonstration of how condoms or other contraceptives are applied.” Nonetheless, 76 percent of Mississippi teenagers report having sex before the end of high school, and a third of babies in the state are born to teenage mothers. One teacher came up with a creative solution for imparting some wisdom to students about condoms:

Former three-term governor of New York Mario Cuomo died Thursday, the same day his son Andrew was inaugurated to a second term of his own as governor of the Empire State.

On Thursday afternoon, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) took to the Senate floor to rail against a Wall Street giveaway that corporate-friendly lawmakers snuck into the massive spending bill that Congress needs to pass this week in order to avert a government shutdown. The measure—which was written by Citigroup—would allow big banks like Citigroup to engage in a broader range of risky trades with taxpayer-backed money. “A vote for this bill is a vow for taxpayer bailouts of Wall Street,” Warren warned in her speech. Here’s the whole thing.

The “retraction” appeared in Australia’s Courier-Mail, which later interviewed the family:

Kai Bogert, as he is now called, was known as Elizabeth Anne for 19 years. Ms Bogert last night told The Courier-Mail that placing the ad was “a no-brainer”.

“I needed to show my son I support him 100 per cent and wanted to let the world know that.”

Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, a woman, shared some advice for us feeble-minded young ladies out here: Let’s not burden ourselves with voting! After all, we’re far too busy swiping for a man on Tinder to cast an educated vote in the midterm elections, or any election for that matter.

“It’s the same reason why young women on juries are not a good idea,” Guilfoyle explained to her approving co-hosts. “They don’t get it!”

“They’re not in that same life experience of paying the bills, doing the mortgage, kids, community, crime, education, healthcare. They’re like healthy and hot and running around without a care in the world,” she added.

But what to do with all of our overabundant, perky energy!? Guilfoyle says not to worry–just “go back on Tinder or Match.com” and all will be right in the world.

Look At This Hippie Getting Attacked By This Bat

So, you go camping with your friends and you’re having a nice little jam session and then all of a sudden “IT’S A BAT!”

Thankfully, none of these guys were harmed during the attack, but when they took the body of the bat to a local vet—they apparently killed it with BB guns after the video stopped recording—they were informed that their departed flying friend was, in fact, rabid. That’s scary. The guitarist is getting treated and will be OK.

Feel free to have nightmares about this though.
